“Earth Medicine definitely came to the rescue for us as we started building our farmstead. After receiving a truckload of soil that was completely void of life, incredibly alkaline and just an over all mess, we worked hard to adjust the ph and add the necessary nutrients with organic amendments and compost - which was broken down so quickly it didn’t have a lot of time to do much. While this worked, it didn’t add life to the soil. Things were finally growing but the nutrients were being depleted very quickly and balance was still hard to maintain. We then added Earth Medicine Organic Microbial fertilizer to our raised and in ground beds and within about a week we had mushrooms growing in soil that only a few weeks prior wouldn’t even grow weeds. A couple months later we cleared out some crops, topped dressed with compost and a little more earth medicine to plant our winter crops.

The plants that remained in the boxes when we did this greened up substantially and our peas and cabbages took off! It’s given our newly planted seeds a fertile environment so when they sprout, I don’t have to worry about the seedlings needing anything for at least a month, which will just be another sprinkle of earth medicine. Earth Medicine feeds your soil so you plants can access the nutrients they need to thrive, and the results not only happen quickly, but lasting. It’s also concentrated so a little goes a long way and I find just a generous sprinkle once every 4-6 weeks does wonders for your veggies, fruits and flowers.

It’s super easy to use, versatile, clean, non toxic/pet safe and doesn’t stink as it’s in pellet form. It also won’t burn, so there’s another thing you don’t have to worry about. On our farm it’s important to us to stay chemical free and clean and Earth Medicine helps us do this with little effort. I cannot recommend this product enough for anyone from the house plant lover to the backyard gardener to the full scale farmer. There is no application this product isn’t ideal for.”

How should the product be applied?

The product works best when it is lightly broadcasted over the soil at the base of the crop on a consistent basis. If this is not possible, the product can be laid with the seed rows during seeding to act as a seed started as the granular design creates a slow release of microbial life and nutrients into the soil. How often should product be applied?

Before planting or at the time of planting seeds or seedlings and throughout the growing season every 4-6 weeks. Our product can be applied as a soil amendment after harvest to repopulate the soil of beneficial microbial life and nutrients.

Can I use this product for all of my crops?

Yes! Earth Medicine organic microbial fertilizers can be used for mono cereal crops, greenhouses, raised garden beds, fruit growing, orchards, bamboo, hemp, flowers, shrubs and trees.

Can this product be stored during the off season?

Yes, the product can be stored during the winter months. The microbial life is shelf stable and will remain active as long as it is kept dry in a climate controlled building. Product should also be kept out of direct sunlight during the summer months as well. The microbial life can become damaged if they are left baking in the sun.
